15. Capri The Pearl of the Gulf, with a shape of pregnant woman laying in the sea, is the most famous island of the bay. It has fascinated emperors, directors, politicians, philosophers and normal people either by its wild beauty or by the dolce vita you may always smell in the air. Capri is ideal for combining a high profile cultural visit with a glamour one as you can always come across one of the many VIPs who show up here. Length of the visit : depends on wishes. 16. Ischia Ischia, known as the Green island, is another volcanic island that form the extreme point of the Campi Flegrei. Much bigger than the other islands, it hosts also an old dead volcano and dozen of still active thermal springs. In fact, one of its best attractions are these thermal baths and beauty treatments offered in comfortable and attractive resorts by the sea. But Ischia, or better Pythecusa was also the first colony of Magna Grecia and it has a small but rich museum dedicated to the findings of the old greek colony. 17. Procida The smallest island of the Gulf, is a little treasure of Mediterranean taste with fishermen villages embracing the tufa edges of this other volcanic island.
